株式会社スプーンは、2025年1月10日から12日の3日間、杉並区南荻窪のTYPE ONEにてファン感謝イベントとして「SPOON COLLECTION 2025」を開催します。
このイベントは、世界中のSPOONファン、ホンダファンを対象に、これまで同社が年に一度開催しているファン感謝イベントです。会場となる同社整備ガレージのTYPEONEでは、SPOONデモカーやレースカーの展示、イベント記念グッズの販売、同社ファウンダーである市嶋樹のサイン会などを予定しています。また、レース車両を使い、同社メカニックの指導の下でのレースメカニック体験も実施予定。1月11日(土曜日)には、2024年のスーパー耐久参戦報告会、並びにSPOON NIGHTという小規模なパーティが企画されており、同社スタッフとファンとの交流の場となるでしょう。なお、イベント並びにパーティのいずれも、参加の予約は一切不要で、参加費用も無料です。
なお、スーパー耐久シリーズ2024に参戦したレース車両「SPOONリジカラCIVIC」号は、東京オートサロン2025の会場にて展示予定です。

Spoon Inc. will host a fan appreciation event, “SPOON COLLECTION 2025,” from January 10 to 12, 2025, at TYPE ONE in Minami-Ogikubo, Suginami Ward.
This annual event, aimed at Spoon and Honda fans worldwide, offers a variety of activities and attractions. At the venue, Spoon’s maintenance garage TYPE ONE, attendees can enjoy:
– Exhibitions of Spoon demo cars and race cars
– Sales of limited-edition event merchandise
– A signing session with the company founder, Tatsuru Ichishima
Additionally, there will be a unique hands-on experience where participants can learn race car mechanics under the guidance of Spoon’s professional mechanics.
On Saturday, January 11, two special programs are planned: 2024 Super Taikyu (Super Endurance) Race Report, SPOON NIGHT, a small-scale party providing an opportunity for fans to interact with Spoon staff. Both the event and the party require no prior reservations, and admission is free.
Furthermore, the race car SPOON Rigid Collar CIVIC, which competed in the 2024 Super Taikyu Series, will be exhibited at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2025.

We’re excited to announce some details regarding Mr. Ichishima’s signing session! It will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.During the session, you can get items signed that you purchase at the venue on the day or bring your own items. You can also take a photo with Mr. Ichishima. However, to ensure that everyone has a fair and enjoyable experience, we kindly ask you to follow the rules below:

– One item per person for signing.
– One photo per person with Mr. Ichishima.
– Please wait in line as directed. Forming a line before the designated time is not allowed.
– You may line up again for another turn, but please join at the end of the line. Cutting in line is prohibited.
– Group photos may be accommodated depending on the situation, but for large groups, decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis after the event.

SPOON SPORTSでは新たに、11thシビック/シビックタイプR FL5用 ENGINE COMPLETEを発売いたします。
ENGINE COMPLETEは、すべて新品のHonda純正部品を使用して組み上げられます。シリンダーブロックや、シリンダーヘッドのエッジ部は、全てバリを取り応力集中を避けると共に、メーカ製造過程で発生する金属片のエンジン内部への脱落を未然に防ぎます。また、ピストン、ピストンピン、コンロッドのムービングパーツの組付け重量を、各気筒0.02g以内に収めています。
これらムービングパーツの総重量はおよそ1,100g(K20C)あり、気筒間の差は0.002%です。従来のHondaタイプR系エンジンの許容重量差が0.2%なので、私たちはさらにその100倍の精度を追求しています。
ムービングパーツ重量の均一化は、アンバランスが減り振動の軽減につながり、滑らかに回転が上昇し、パワーカーブなどの数値に現れない、気持ちよさを体感できます。
さらに、エンジン組み立ての重要なポイントが、クリアランス管理です。
エンジンは、アルミニウムと鉄など異素材を組み合わせて、強度と軽量化を両立させています。
アルミニウム製のシリンダーブロックに、鉄製のシリンダースリーブを鋳込み、アルミニウム製のピストンが組み込まれます。また、クランクシャフトやカムシャフト、吸排気バルブは鉄製で、アルミニウム製のシリンダーブロックやシリンダーヘッドに組み込まれます。
アルミニウムと鉄は、熱膨張率が違うため、温度変化に伴いクリアランスも変化します。
その為、エンジンを組み立てるクリーンルームは、空調により室温を均一化させ、年間を通して部品温度を一定にし、組み立て時の精密なクリアランス管理を可能にしています。
高精度な部品を、適切に管理された環境下で、熟練メカニックにより組み上げられる、Hondaエンジンの真の姿を体感してください。

SPOON SPORTS will now offer an ENGINE COMPLETE package for the 11th generation CIVIC/CIVIC TYPE R (FL5)
The ENGINE COMPLETE package is built entirely with brand new OE parts from Honda. Before assembly, all metal burrs are removed from the cylinder block and cylinder head to avoid possible stress concentration and to avoid engine damage from contamination.
The piston, piston pin and all moving parts of the conrod are carefully weighed and balanced within 0.02g of tolerance on each cylinder.
The total weight of the moving parts is approximately 1,100g (K20C) hence tolerance of 0.02g translates to managing the weight difference within 0.002%.
Stock Honda Type R engines are built with a tolerance of 0.2%. We’ve set our bar 100 times higher.
Precise weight management of moving parts in an engine helps to decrease minute vibrations, allowing the engine to rev smoothly. The effect may not be visible on a power curve, but it definitely reflects on driving feel.
Another critical factor of building an engine is clearance management.
Modern engines are made up of different materials such as aluminum and steel in order to balance durability and weight saving.
Cylinder sleeves made of steel is cast molded into an aluminum cylinder block and combined with pistons made from aluminum. Crankshaft, camshaft and intake/exhaust valves are made of steel, assembled to cylinder blocks and cylinder heads made of aluminum.
Since the coefficient of thermal expansion are different between aluminum and steel, clearance deviates according to temperature fluctuation.
At SPOON SPORTS, we take pride in assembling all our engines in a cleanroom, temperature controlled to maintain an environment for optimum clearance management during assembly.

標準状態で既に組み込まれているヘリカルLSDは、スポーツ性と快適性を両立させている為、スポーツ走行での性能が不足しています。
そこで私たちは、スポーツ性を向上させるべく機械式LSDを開発しました。

LSD is a must item for front-engine front-wheel drives.
The original helical LSD installed in the stock vehicle is designed to accommodate both sports driving and comfort at an acceptable level. We wanted to make it better, especially for performance focused driving.
Our solution is a custom designed mechanical LSD. After numerous testing under various driving stages, we are proud to offer our 1.5 WAY mechanical LSD, ON 50°/OFF 20°cam angle settings with initial torque setting of 5.0〜6.0kg.
Our LSD is equipped with a clutch plate to minimize gear chattering, significantly improving daily-driving performance compared to conventional mechanical LSDs.
